PURPOSE
|

This workbook is designed to aid in the setup of needle shower
systems by simulating the coverage of the current shower setup as well as
showing the optimum setup for full coverage.

RECOMMENDED SHOWER SETUP
|
|
|
The
calculations are based on the oscillator travelling 1 nozzle width per
revolution.
The Revs for Full Coverage
is simply the Nozzle Spacing divided by the Nozzle Diameter.
The Recommended Speed
and Time for Full Coverage are based on the time per revolution which is Fabric Speed
divided by the Fabric Length

SHOWER SIMULATION
|
|
|
The Shower Simulation allows you to
simulate the Number of Impacts per nozzle width using the current shower setup parameters.
The only inputs are Oscillator Speed and the # of Revs to Simulate.

IMPACT CHART

|

The vertical axis shows the number of impacts at each shower
position.
• The horizontal axis represents a
CD width equal to 400 shower nozzle diameters on each chart.
